Dr. Mian is a board-certified gastroenterologist who received her Doctorate in Medicine from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY., where she was also selected to serve as a Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. She completed her Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the North Shore University Hospital.

Dr. Mian is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.  She is particularly interested in Women's Health and Gastrointestinal Disease, Colorectal Cancer Screening, and Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

Dr. Mian welcomed the opportunity to return to Buffalo after completing her training. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, Greater Swiss mountain dogs and her rescue cat. Her interests include outdoor activities such as boating, hiking and skiing. She is fond of traveling during school breaks and when her busy schedule allows.
