Coronavirus (COVID-19) alert for our patients
The Endoscopy Center of WNY is following the guidelines set forth by the CDC and the NYS Department of Health to keep you safe while you are at our facility.
If you are experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath or new loss of taste or smell OR you have had close contact with someone who has recently been diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19), please DO NOT come to the center. Please call the office at (716) 626-5250 to reschedule your procedure.
The NYS Department of Health requires ALL patients to test for COVID prior to procedure. Please see the Patient Forms section below for COVID testing instructions.
We encourage all individuals to help prevent the spread of infection. Masks or face coverings are required before entering the center. Patient drivers are not required to stay at the center. If you choose to have your driver accompany you at the center, we ask that only one person per patient remain at the center during your procedure.

Our center has received deemed status accreditation through the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC) and has been designated as a Center of Excellence through the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE).
The physicians at ECWNY maintain a high level of excellence and choose to participate in the GI Quality Improvement Consortium (GIQuIC). GIQuIC allows us to monitor quality indicators and to improve patient outcomes.

While several organizations have recommended that colon cancer screening begin at age 45 for patients at average risk, not all insurance carriers have adopted this change. Please contact your insurance carrier to review your coverage for colon cancer screening.
