Dr. Pomakov is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from Higher Institute of Medicine of Pleven, Bulgaria. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at The University Hospital of Pleven, Bulgaria and the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Pomakov is fluent in Bulgarian.
